  • Prioritizing high risk patients (immune compromised, over 60 years, etc.) during less busy times
  • Patients can opt to wait in their car, or outside the office where they can be contacted by mobile phone when it is their turn to be treated
  • We are spreading out the schedule to limit the number of people in the waiting room
  • If a patient is being accompanied, their escort may be asked to wait in their car to limit the number of people in the waiting room
  • A partition at the reception area will limit close contact between reception staff and patients

As a health care facility, we are held to a high standard of cleaning and disinfection.

  • On a regular basis we clean, sterilize, and disinfect our operatories. We also wipe down everything in the waiting room. This includes chairs, handles, light switches, and tables, etc.
  • Hand hygiene is performed by staff, before and after all patient contacts
  • Isolation gowns are changed after every patient
  • Patients will be asked to do a hydrogen peroxide rinse before they are treated
